In celebration of the upcoming season I thought I’d start a little poll.
Mallory, Pam, and Nikolai Jakov are my favorite secondary characters, but Archer carries the show. He’s the star and he gets the best jokes.
Archer all the way. Seriously…Johnny Bench called.
Since I to pick one, I went with Pam. She’s killed several men with her bare hands (there’s an implication her total may be as many as 13 or 14) and she’s a drift-racer… she has far more potential as a field agent than Cyril, who is the only character I dislike.
Cyril was definitely misused last season.
Crazy-ass, dumb-as-doorknobs Cheryl might be my favorite supporting character. But yeah, Archer is the show.
Likewise Ray. Who, after Archer, gets my vote.
Adol–er…I mean, Kreiger.
I’m afraid your authority isn’t recognized here in Fort Kick-Ass. Krieger ftw.
Cheryl “Tape-'em-up” Tunt.
I want Krieger’s van.
All aboard the SS Date Rape! Toot toot!
I had to vote for Dr. Krieger. He is probably the most insane one out of the insane people. I love how he’s mostly a background character but everything he says is hilarious.
Definitely Kreiger, but I think it’s because he gets the perfect amount of screentime. Everything he says is great… anything more and he probably starts getting more lame lines.
Aside from that, Archer definitely gets all the best lines/jokes.
Kreiger is definitely my favorite.
I agree. They started him off as a semi-competent field agent…then it kinda all went downhill.
I’ve never cared for him. He’s my least favorite character.
Archer’s definitely the best character, but after him I’d go with Krieger or Pam.
The episode where Pam is getting beaten by kidnappers and keeps making fun of them (and then flashbacks to her underground fighting days) gets me every time.
Obviously Stirling Archer is #1, but I voted for Cyril – my sentimental favourite. Because I also like jacking it…you know…on the telephone.
Krieger, Archer, then Ray, in that order.
Honestly, though, there are no bad characters on the show in my book.
Archer gets my vote, but I like them all in their own special, deranged ways:
Lana for her hawtness and sarcasm.
Malory for her narcissism, poor management style, terrible parenting skills and unapologetic alcoholism.
Cyril for his cluelessness but occasional - and thus all the more funny - competence.
Cheryl for her hawtness and clinical insanity.
Pam for her cut-the-bull attitude and utter lack of decorum.
Krieger for his thinly-veiled facism and utter lack of scientific ethics.
Ray for his drawl and his weary gayness.
Woodhouse for his long-suffering, deadpan quips.
BTW, it’s “Sterling,” not “Stirling”: http://www.fxnetworks.com/archer/about
