What’s Your Favorite name for a guy? I’ve always been partial to Raymond, but I also like Anthony
Dante
John or Jon
and my son, Justin
Fine names.
I actually knew a guy in school whose first name was “Dartanyon”. I thought it was cool, but he never had the guts to use it (went by his middle name instead).
He had a point. I guess he would have to be an actor or a musician to get away with that name.
D’artagnan is a cool name.
My faves are Nathan, Aaron and Noah but I’m a wee bit biased.
I guess I like the odder ones–not so odd they can’t be spelled, but not on everyone’s list.
Kirk, Eric, Derek, Connor, Bram, Cole, Drew, Davis, Zane, Bern, Holt, Grant, Braden.
That was my list when I was pregnant, although I look back now and don’t like some of them very much.
I like male names with a historical western reference.
Travis, Austin, Deadeye, Butch, Cassidy, Clinton, Jesse, Wolf.
Owen
Patrick
Quinn
Will
Um, is it too late to revise my list?
My name, Robert. I’m also partial to my favorite cousin’s name, Jason. Those’re obviously biased though. Aside from those, I also like Sean and Collin.
Does anyone remember that episode of the Simpsons, When Marge was selling pretzels, and Cletus called all of his kids out onto te porch? That episode just came to mind.
My son’s name, Matthew, is my favorite boy’s name. I just wish it wasn’t so popular.
My favorite guy’s names are usually because I have a guy friend named that. So obviously biased.
Noah
Morgan
Daniel
I love the name Butch… It’s so… tough.
Milo, which is my son’s name. Also his middle name, Avery, which at first I didn’t care for as much as Mr.Kezermezer, but it’s grown on me greatly (also because of it’s meaning- king of the elves. I don’t care for the meaning of ‘Milo’).
I had never given much thought to the name Leon before but now it is my favorite…I’m definitely biased on that one though.
Xander
Francis (Francis not Frank)
Elliot (though I like it more as a girl name)
John (yeah it’s so common but it’s still good)
Linus ( I sense a Linus rejuvenation coming!!! )
Max
Kelso
Justin (but only because of NIMH (: )
Now I just need to have 8 sons (or 7 sons and one daughter named Elliot) and I’m all set.
How about a Boy Named: Sioux?
I’ll nominate:
- Christian
- Laudon
- Arneau
Henry is masculine, yet conveys a sense of refinement. And if he doesn’t like refinement, he can always go by Hank. I also like Andrew, Thomas, Elliot, Oliver, and Clive.
I used my favorite name on my son-Sterling.
I also like Stokely, but just recently saw a name and thought if I’d had another boy(which I won’t) I like Orson.
Daniel, David, Andrew, Jared, Oliver.
I am so boring.
I have a huge list of boys’ names I like. I think I’ll have to start buying goldfish so I can name them.
Aidan, Michael, Brendan, Nathan, Ethan, and Christian are long-standing favorites, but I added Alain and Mathieu to my list just the other day.
