Goose Island?

Dogfish?

Deschutes?

In what would could anyone NOT consider these MICRObrews?

Amstel Light.

I’m fine with Miller Light or Bud Light. Also, i haven’t had one in forever but i remember actually really liking the taste of regular Budweiser (what do you want, it was/is my dad’s beer), but i never drank it because i would inevitably feel like shit the next day without exception.
Edit: OH, is Bell’s a macro brew? cause i will drink the hell out of some Oberon

312 is sold across the country. Most micro-brews are not that widely distributed.

Newcastle Brown Ale

The only macro ale I drink much is Guinness. It just…is what it is. I like other stouts, but nothing else is Guinness. Also Old Peculiar when the mood strikes.

For lagers, I drink Old Style when going cheap (it’s beer flavored!) and Grolsch when I want something a little more flavorful. I also like Heineken occasionally; there’s something subtle about Heineken that I find extremely refreshing. Might be my favorite “hot summer day” beer.

Damn straight. A nice, light (but not too light) lager for when it’s 85 in the shade. And a six of sixteens goes for about what a single bottle of some of these so-called “macrobrews” sell for, so you can do the front AND the back yards, though the rows start getting crooked after a while and you give up and take a nap before you are done and you wake up and wonder why you are hung over at 4:00PM but you look at your yard and see the places you missed and the other places you shaved down to the dirt and you remember the first rule of home maintenance: No drinking until the job is done.

Guy behind me learned that when he and his buddies reshingled his roof. It was hilarious watching the rows of shingles get more crooked at the afternoon went on.

I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere else, but I came in to mention Goose Island Honker’s Ale - it’s available on tap at at least 4 of the places in town I can think of to go drink. It’s almost to the point that I can walk into a random restaurant and assume they have it.

Haven’t tried the one mentioned upthread, but the Summertime is worthless, IMO.
