God, I’m startled to see that no one has mentioned videos by Tool - Stinkfist, Aenema, Sober, Parabola, Schism…
the worlds created in those videos are surreal.
I have a couple of friends obsessing over this one. Come on, am I really the only one who saw that coming a mile away?
Well it swerved me the first time. Makes the video much less interesting the second time tho.

“Girls of Summer”–also a very cool Aerosmith video that got LOTS of airtime last summer on VH1.I loved the way the way they ‘hooked’(literally!)Steven Tyler at the end with a ham sandwich.

No Surprises - where he’s got his head in a helmet, and the helmet fills up with water, and he’s holding his breath for the full song. I always try and hold my breath when I see it for the same amount of time as him.
Karma police - Where the guy’s being chased by a car as he staggers down the road, really slowly. Then he stops, exhausted, and the car reverses to smack into him, but he notices petrol leaking from the car, and sets fire to it.

Being the metalhead that I am, I am quite partial to Metallica’s One.
