Favorite pizza toppings, need answer fast!!!

Heh, I remember that poll. I think I’ll bookmark it for when I’m running low on pizza ideas.

My girlfriend wasn’t home tonight, so I put pepperoni on mine (she’s vegetarian), but I just took a second pizza out of the oven on which I replaced the pepperoni with a few capers, which she loves and I hate. I see they didn’t even rate a mention in the poll thread. Good.

I’ve found that pineapple is often good when you want something different. And, as a kid, I always went with shrimp pizza when I got my free pizza from Book-It.

Too late to participate in the poll, but I went out to a local pizza place Saturday and had a slice of barbecue chicken and a slice of buffalo chicken - both were excellent.

Another tuna fan!! Hurrah!!

That pizza wasn’t what I expected at all- I like tuna salad and most canned tuna dishes, but this was just better all around. Maybe it was just that awesome, or maybe it’s because I’d spent the better part of the day tromping around Via del Corso / Via Condotti looking for Christmas gifts among the hordes of locals (apparently Dec. 15th or so is the Italian equivalent of Black Friday), but that pizza really stood out from all the other stellar food I had in Italy this last December.

Pizza Hut’s Supreme Pizza is my favorite. I notice I eat a lot of stuff that I generally wouldn’t if its smothered in cheese and baked on pizza. Supreme is sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, and olives, I think

Sausage, bell pepper, and onion.
Sausage, mushrooms, and onion.
Or sauteed spinach, fresh tomato, and mushrooms for some vegetarian flair.

Peppers, mushrooms and onions for me.

Disclaimer: as a kosher-observant Jew, I have no idea what pizza is like with the meaty toppings.

I go anchovy and mushroom; I like 'em just fine separately, but the ideal is having each mushroom soak up just enough anchovy for more-than-the-sum-of-its parts goodness.

Yeaahh, there’s a little hole-in-the-wall place in my hometown where I love to get thin crust (St. Louis style?) shrimp pizza. Loaded with itty-bitty little shrimps.
