Best pizza toppings.

I always find this fascinating.

I always like chicken and peppers best, has to be spicy with lots of cheese as well! On thick crust.

Cheese. Preferably oily cheese. 4-cheese pizzas are the best.

If I have to put something on it, I really like portabello mushroom pizzas from Uno’s.

A lot of feta cheese, meatballs, and pile it high with mozzarella cheese!

Olives. Lots of olives.

No, not enough.

More.

More.

I SAID MORE DAMMIT!!!

Esthetes may complain, but pizza must have a cheap meat as one of the toppings. Pepperoni, sausage…doesn’t matter which. Both together are better. My ideal pizza has pepperoni, sausage, olive, green pepper, onion and pineapple, with crushed red pepper flakes shaken abundantly over the top.

Damn…not I’m hungry!

Try gyros meat if you get a chance. Another savory, cheap meat to try.

Giardinera peppers baked in are tasty, too!

one place in denver serves chicken parmisean. that is really good. homemdae meatballs are great, too. Also andouille sausage is awesome on pizzas!

I’ve gotta go with hamburger and onion. With, of course, lotsa cheese.

I have a friend who works in a major pizza place. She usually brings whatever pizza is left over from their buffet to the local pub after work, and she’s brought in some strange ones. Weirdest she ever brought was apple pizza. It was pretty good though. Devoured in just a few minutes by the beer drinkers.

My favorite, at the local Brew&View pizzeria, is a peppercorn crust pizza topped with spinach, feta, and walnuts. The combination just works beautifully, and has even won over my (very traditional) father-in-law.

When I make pizza at home, I violate two rules of pizzamaking:

  1. Instead of making the sauce simple, I make it very flavorful, with wine, lots of herbs, and lots of garlic.
  2. Instead of keeping the toppings simple, I go crazy with them.

Homemade pizza usually includes the following ingredients, placed in different amounts in different locations on the pizza:
-Roasted garlic
-Feta cheese
-Kalamata olives (sublime on pizza)
-Walnuts
-Homemade pickled onions
-Sun-dried tomatoes
-Fresh tomatoes
-Spinach
-Blue cheese (sometimes)

A single slice will fill you up.

Pepperoni, green peppers, onions, fresh tomatoes. Lots of cheese, stringy and greasy, please.

I"ll take an extra large with extra cheese. Delivered, of course.

I know it’s not your favourite pizza joint from around the corner in the old neighbourhood hand tossed by Mario himself… but I loves me some Pizza Hut, Super Supreme, thin crust, no sausage, extra bacon. YUMMY!!!

You must be me. Chicken and peppers is my pizza of choice, although I don’t care about the thickness of the crust.

My second choice is hamburger, onions, and peppers.

All must have triple the normal amount of cheese. At least.

A local pizza shop has a combination they call “The Melvin” – I can’t remember if it has pepperoni or canadian bacon or both, plus pineapple, jalapenos, spinach, and feta cheese. It sounds disgusting but everything complements everything else and it is really just awesome. (I think I know where I’m going for lunch tomorrow!)

Pineapple! With tons and tons of cheese.

We should get together and have pizza some time.

I will never understand the allure of pineapple on pizza.

Salami, green peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella. Not very imaginitive, I know :stuck_out_tongue:
Occasionally, anchovies, goat cheese, basil leaves, eggplant

I never did either, until my best friend made me try it. Now I love it, although I only eat pineapple pizza when I’m with her.

Most of the time, I like my pizza with pepperoni and green olives.

Anchovies and extra cheese

Artichoke hearts! I usually get pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms too, but I’ll give both of those up long before they pry my artichoke hearts off my cold, soggy leftover pizza.
