Favourite movie puns and/or punny movies

Nitpick: Max (Peter Falk) was the “friar” who helped Leslie (Tony Curtis) escape. The “General” was Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon), who was being held prisoner by the evil Baron von Stuppe (Ross Martin)—whose name, I just realized, was a joke unto itself! :smack:

In Diamonds are Forever, Leitner meets Bond at the airport with the corpse being used to smuggle diamonds into the States.

“Where are the diamonds, James?” he asks.

“Ailementary, my dear Felix,” replies Bond. “Ailementary.”

One of my favorite moments when I first saw Airplane! (I was 15 at the time) wasn’t really a pun, but more of a literal visual interpretation of a common idiom: “When Kramer hears about this, the shit’s gonna hit the fan!” *cut to a shot of an electric fan with, literally, shit hitting it from offscreen.

I’m not sure if other languages have that expression, or how it might translate.
