I am going to make a list of a different sort:
(1) Good friends that go beyond the board. Those who I have shared e-mails, IMs, and talked to in chat rooms and on the telephone. Eventually we will meet in person.
These people have become more to me than just a screen name. You know who you are and I think you are great.
(2) Those I have come to know through the years spent on the SDMB. I feel like I have come to know a lot about you guys from the many things you have written.
(3) Those I may not always agree with, but who I respect enough to try to see things through their eyes.
(4) Those who make me laugh or smile. I come to the SDMB to enjoy myself, thanks for making it enjoyable.
(5) Those who know how to flame. I’ll admit it, I love a good, sarcastic flame-fest every once in a while (whether I am involved or just a spectator), but there is a difference between a quality flame and the lame “. . . . what say you and your little dyke friends swing by my house for dick tonight. Does that answer your question?”
Aside from the trolls and those who are here for no other reason except to stir the shit and offer nothing (they mostly slither around the GQ and Pit forums), almost all of you fit somewhere on my list, therefore, you’re all my favorite.
