The first woman is afraid of birds, but the second is afraid of mustard??
This guy is afraid of peaches.

Really? I thought it was fine. Why the edit?
I have a fear of birds. Not like a running away and screaming kind of fear but they unnerve me in general. I love mustard and peaches though. Not together, because that would be gross, but seperately they are quite nice.
Birds, I can understand. I knew a girl in college who had been attacked by a flock of chickens as a child (she was carrying a bucket of feed), and she couldn’t enjoy the beach because of all of the wheeling seagulls. Mustard, I dunno. Perhaps the third had a bad experience walking under a tree at harvest time?
It was typical of me. A feeble attempt to add content and be witty and/or informative at the same time. I re-read it and could not think of an edit that would recover it so I decided to remove it alltogether.
I did not want to laugh. Honestly, I really did not want to laugh.
You know, I don’t make fun of anyone’s phobias because I’ve had my own, and I feel really badly for this girl. On the other hand, listening to her shake and sob while the screen is showing the most menacing pictures of pickles I have ever seen rendered me completely helpless.
IT’S NOT MY FAULT!
I know someone who has a peach phobia. I would be more sympathetic if she wasn’t a mean, crazy person in other ways.
Mustard and peaches make a fine condiment.
That would be mustard seed and peaches all done up into chutney, just the way nature intended, wouldn’t it? Mmm-mmm.
