Are there any foods you absolutely hate, but it seems like you are the only one?

Okay, a lot of people hate onions, coconut, lima beans, brussel sprouts, etc.

But what I am talking about here is the thing you hate that EVERYONE YOU KNOW eats and enjoys. The thing that makes you standout from the crowd.

Mine is carbonated beverages. I don’t know how you all drink 'em. Those bubbles in my mouth and --yuck!–my throat feel like they are burning me. I do not drink soda, sparkling cider, champagne, beer, nada… it is NOT FOR ME!

Evo

Peanut butter. I hate it with a passion. My hatred of the dreaded babypoo-coloured gunk is beyond all reason. It’s bitter, twisted, and deeply personal. Peanut Butter knows I hate it, and I can hear it snickering when I scurry by in the supermarket on my way to pick up some Vegemite.

Peanut butter, I hate you.

Peanut butter, I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!

Thank you, I feel much better now.

Nurse!

Watermelon and Sarsparilla. Vomitable.
Coming TLD…

Tea. I’ve tried it. I don’t like it. Iced Tea is practically a religion in my part of the world.

Coffee is one of the most vile, loathsome substances ever devised by the race of man.

I’m also not a big fan of the raisins.

Cornbread.

ick, blahhh

most types of cookies (excluding freshly baked chewy chocolate chip cookies)

ick

I hate watermelon. And grapefruit. I like peanut butter but can’t eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the life of me, disgusting.

Cheese and eggs.

Mayonaisse, chicken and pork are the big three. Not just when they’re together, but independently as well.

Amen on the watermelon. Practically any type of melon, really (except the warm, cuddly kind). Mayonnaise. Peas. Cream of Mushroom soup.

Mayonaisse (Hooray! Other people do hate it!)
Eggs

I’m sure there are more.

Are you telling me a lot of people like mayonnaise?

Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t abide are carbonated beverages, peanut butter, water melon, sasparilla, tea, coffee, cornbread, cheese, eggs, mayonnaise, pork, chicken and mushroom soup.

:d&r:

Sea cucumber. Umpteen billion South East Asians will no doubt think I’m mad.

Honey.

ick ick ick ick ick bee vomit ick ick ick

I can’t even buy bread with honey in it…I can taste the stuff when it’s toasted.

(no offense, Honey)

Licorice

UGH!

Cheese and tomatoes. Together or seperate. I hate all types of cheese with a passion. I can tell if something has had cheese on it and it has been removed.

I also do not like coffee or most types of fruit.

Space Vampire, maybe we can start an anti-cheese league. We could fight against the evil that is cheese and all its evil propaganda.

I can’t eat banannas. I’ve tried to eat one a few times, but I’ve always gagged and had to throw it out. I also can’t stand mayonnaisse.

Milk

I can eat butter and cheese, but milk makes me gag. The flavor and texture :shudders:
I use rice or soy milk for cereal.

Mushrooms and cilantro (corriander). Weird thing is that so many of my friends love the stuff and they all, at one point or another, try to convince me how good it is and how much I should like it too. They never seem to understand that to me, mushrooms taste like basement mold and cilantro like bathroom potpourri. :frowning:

Mayonaisse, Cheesecake, Strawberry Icecream, Soy Milk, Potato Salad, Cauliflower, Tomatoes, ANY sort of fish (with the exception of smoked salmon). I’m a picky eater
