(I still flip through a couple of local conservative talk stations just to hear what theyr’e saying, until I get too pissed off and have to change, which usually only takes a couple of minutes.)
I’m ashamed to admit to that Vice once a month or so. And if the remote could send an electric shock through to the seat of the presenter, I’m also ashamed to admit I’d have gone through quite a number of box fuses.

we had an ice storm last week, knocked out the power to most of Memphis. as of today we still have 34, 000 customers without power, of which I am one. I am really tired of this and want to go home (with electricity)
I’m so sorry to hear this. I’m in Memphis, too. I made a thread about the storm last week (Ice Storm 2/22). I was very lucky. No damage to the house or car. I only lost power a couple nights ago for four hours while repairs were going on. I hope you get your power back soon. Mine was out for a week after Hurricane Elvis so I know how frustrating it is.

It was so hot after Hurricane Elvis too. I had to go visit my parents then as i was too broke to do anything else.
Now I sleep with a CPAP machine so I have to have electricity, thankfully it came back on last night. Yay!
Thank you so much for that suggestion. My cat’s tender tummy has been acting up the last couple of days so I put a water bowl in my bedroom and it’s definitely helped her. She’s still feeling puny, but she’s hydrated at least.

At least once a week my boyfriends dad comes over and takes him, and me, to a store, or dispensary. Today he reveals he’s not vaccinated. Seriously? He’s 70, has COPD, and his son has MS. Oh, he only goes to grocery stores.
. He tells his son he will call when he leaves to come by, so he’ll have time to get ready. Nope, just showed up suddenly, and when bf complained about that, started yelling, shut up you idiot or I’ll take you back home.
I have some brand new 18" wheels for my car to replace the 20" POS ones it has on it. I go to Walmart to buy tires for them. The tires I wanted are 225/55-R18, which are the same exact circumference and just 20 mm narrower than the 245/40-R20s they’d replace. There is absolutely NO reason these wheels and tires won’t work perfectly on my car. Walmart auto manager girl says they can’t sell me those tires, since they aren’t the size the car came with! No amount of logic could change her decision. Went to Walmart #2. Tire boss guy takes one look at my new wheels and says “Nope. Not gonna risk scratching those!”
Off to Goodyear. No problem, just have to wait 'til Monday because he had to order the tires.
I have bought several sets of tires from Wally World in the past. They lost all my tire business yesterday due to their ignorance.
We got a buncha freezing rain (and snow) lately and I found today that the lid to my trash bin is frozen shut.
I just realized that trash pickup is 1st thing Monday morning, but that nothing will be shaken into the truck if the lid won’t open. Shit.
Maybe if I pour warm water over it … ?
