Okay. So, Feisty, why didn’t you learn from your stint in jail? Or did the evil White judge let you off with a fine? Did you luck out and get a misdemeanor conviction or are you well on your way to the infamous three-strikes hotel?
BTW, you might consider yourself to be Overseas Chinese (I base that from your comment about the homeland), but checking over the website of the consulate of the People’s Republic of China, I discovered that they don’t appear to consider you as Chinese. For one thing, there’s no English translation provided for the Overseas Chinese Affairs page and thus you’re screwed if you don’t read Chinese. Does that mean the entire country of China is “acting White” or, just maybe, you’re wrong and racist yourself?
A further note about your conviction: From my experience in processing visa applications, consulates are extremely (to the point of mono-mania oft-times) interested in an applicant’s criminal record. You see (well, you probably don’t, what with being blinded by your hatred & racist attitude), if someone’s a proven criminal, then as far as the consulate’s concerned, they can stay in their own country and be trouble there. And, as far as the People’s Republic of China is concerned, you’re an American.
But just for sheer entertainment, let’s just pretend the Deputy Consul screws up and grants you a visa to immigrate to the PRC (and said DC doesn’t lose his job for said screw-up). What’re you going to do there? Do you have relatives that won’t be ashamed to have a criminal in the family residing with them? Now, not everyone in China, of course, agrees with a fair number of the laws the government there enforces; however, it’s a fair bet to say that folks generally agree that certain things, such as murder and assault, are frowned on and if they’re the victim of an assault they just might ask for the police to take action. And the police generally aren’t too impressed by those who assault others.
<Good grief, this is turning into a Flip Wilson story, but in reverse!>
Okay, let’s say that the Deputy Consul screws up, doesn’t lose his job, grants you the visa, and you find a relative who’s not too terribly concerned about your violent action and disregard of societal norms. What’re you going to do to put food on the table and to pay the rent? Do you have any skills? Of course, you can discount anything remotely clerical since you can’t read and write. You can write off (evil pun that, or should I say “white joke?”) even working at a McDonald’s since both the menu and the cash register, this may come as a surprise to you, have writing on them, said writing you are unable to read.
<I warned you this was turning into a kind of Flip Wilson story, didn’t I?>
But, what the hey, let’s say that the Deputy Consul screws up, doesn’t lose his job, grants you the visa, you find the family member who wants to have the violent criminal with whom he can’t communicate living with him, and you actually find a paying job that doesn’t require any reading and writing. How’re you going to communicate with the other people toting bricks or trash? And exactly how much do you think you’re going to earn? How do you know you’re not being cheated by your employer when payday rolls around?
Okay, here we are: The DC screws up, luckily not losing his job for granting a visa to a convicted violent criminal, you find a family member with whom you can’t communicate who’s not concerned about having a violent criminal family member residing with him, you got yourself a job that doesn’t require reading and writing, and your employer isn’t out to screw you. What now? What about when you marry and/or have children? What do you think your prospects are for marriage when: (a) you’re a convicted violent criminal, (b) you can’t read, write, or speak the language like the locals, and © you have essentially zero education?
BTW, it’s extremely easy to go overseas from the United States and renounce your citizenship. I even saw one lady renounce hers whilst she was visiting friends in Tokyo. She decided the next day that was a mistake. Guess what? She’s not an American any more and, last I heard about the case, Japan deported her for not having a residence visa. In her case, she got sent to Korea (she had immigrated from Korea to the US some 40 years prior) since she didn’t have an immigrant visa to the US (Remember? She renounced her citizenship and thus is no longer a US citizen, meaning she requires a visa to enter the country). How well do you think she fits into that society after being gone for 40 years?
Immigrating to Singapore will certainly be an impossibility since you have that conviction for a violent offence. In case you haven’t heard, Singapore’s government is quite the stickler when it comes to its citizens following the laws against assault and the like. Malaysia and Indonesia have that little idiosyncrasy also, but then you’d still be living outside of the “homeland,” wouldn’t you?
Now let me tell you what’s going to happen to you if you decide to stay in the United States and for some odd reason the military screws up and lets you enlist.
ONE racist insult from you towards another military member and you can be kicked out with a less than honorable discharge. And an actual assault from you on another person can get you actual jail time in a military prison and then a bad conduct discharge.
