FEMA centers closing on Judgement Day

Amusing! I’ve been googling “May 21” frequently these past few days because some of the stuff is so amusing, and I found this article. I’m sure it’s a coincidence (or is it?), but it is amusing that three of your disaster recovery centers are closing on the exact date and time Judgment Day is supposed to start!

What’s a FEMA Centre?

FEMA is the (US) Federal Emergency Management Agency. They’re tasked with disaster assistance when something bad happens that local/state government can’t handle on their own and people need evacuation, assistance, etc. It’s also the agency that was slammed for late and inadequate response to Hurricane Katrina.

There are regional FEMA centers around the country for this, and coincidentally - or is it?! :dubious: - some of them are closing up on the supposed Doomsday.

Thanks. I could have researched it but if others reading the post don’t know it is out there for them.

But anyway I will be doomsdayed ahead of you guys anyway.

Hey yeah, I thought it was supposed to happen all at once! Are they working in shifts or something? :stuck_out_tongue:

Fortunately, if FEMA gets blamed for inadequate response to Judgement Day, there’s nobody to complain to, and nobody to do anything if they hear about it.
