FEMA rates Katrina as one of its top accomplishments

Swear to God.

I hear they’re doing a great job of evacuating the now-homeless from the hotels they had them put up in too.

And President Bush is so upset with this display of total cluelessness on FEMA’s part that he’s done…nothing, apparently.

I imagine he’s working on the text of Mr Brown’s Medal of Freedom citation.

In related news, Michael Brown is starting a disaster preparedness planning firm. I am not making this up.

zagloba, you beat me to it. Personally, I think if Michael Brown really wanted to serve the country, he’d commit ritual suicide. That might be a bit harsh.

Forty days and forty nights camping out in the Ninth Ward might get him to grow a speck of empathy and perspective.

I’m being too optimistic, right?

Aw, come on! I bet he’ll do “a heck of a job!” At screwing everything up.

You have to admit that FEMA did a heckuva job of keeping elephants out of New Orleans after the hurricane.

Thread here.

WTF?

There aren’t any elephants anywhere NEAR New Orleans!

See what a great job they did?
