I would be really surprised if it’s a left nut. The threat reads like what a right-winger thinks a left-winger thinks like, not what any lefty I’ve ever encountered (and hoo boy have I encountered some ridonkulous lefties in addition to the excellent ones) thinks like.

100% this. The letter is also signed with symbols for Antifa, Pride, and The Church of Satan. Transparently bogus.

Reminds me of the obvious hoax letter referenced in this post.
