If, in the public schools, gaps in testing results are seen, is that unconnected to efforts by the right to “starve the beast” by cutting funds to public education, and/or otherwise undermining it, any chance they get?

The last three days have made me heartsick. It seemed there was just such a good chance to resolve this horrible situation peacefully, and it’s lost.

All the shots are in the front. Not one shot was in the back. I guess all those “eyewitnesses”, including Brown’s buddy, were fibbing…

This autopsy is a private one arranged on behalf of the Brown family.
The doctor, a well regarded forensic pathologist, is quoted saying something that I think his report answers.
But his report notes that various bullets made multiple entries, presumably leaving more wounds than the number of bullets that struck him.
From Day 1 information should have been available as to how many bullets were fired. But the it seems it really did require an autopsy to determine how many actually struck Brown.
A subtle difference between the questions How many times was he shot at? and How many times was he shot?.
That corroborates the witness transcript I linked on the prior page. The witness on the video said that Brown was charging at the officer and wouldn’t stop. Even after being hit. Interesting that** four shots were in the arm**. That would indicate the cop was either a bad shot or reluctant to kill this guy. I’m assuming the head shots came last because it’s unlikely he could have continued running at the officer after getting shot in the head.
Baden also stated there were no power burns. All those witness statements about finishing Brown off as he lay on the ground? Total bullshit. All the shots were from a considerable distance.

Must feel real good having your boss stab you in the back. These guys are on the front lines facing Molotov cocktails and their precious governor sells them out. If he’s not happy with their performance then let them know privately. Chew them out. Write letters of reprimand for their file. But, no boss should ream out an employee in public.
What do you mean “multiple entries”? What are we talking about, boomerang bullets?
A single bullet entered his eye, exited near his jaw, and then entered again near his clavicle. One bullet but three wounds.
So it seems that by counting wounds on Brown’s body on day one, it would not be readily apparent how many bullets hit him.
OK, sorta kinda explained by the report. But you know how these people are, they’ll completely ignore the fact that Brown wasn’t shot in the back but will stiil think getting shot more than six times is some kind of big hairy ass deal, or something…

The physical evidence showing he was not shot in the back might tend to discredit the statement of any witness who previously made such a claim, such as Dorian Johnson.
If he was wrong on that point a jury might doubt other things he might be called to testify about such as how the confrontation with the police officer began and played out.
You think it is a “black” thing to build memorials out of liquor bottles? Cite?
