His work frankly wasn’t particularly good, though you have to admit that in terms of pitching concepts “naked chick in a bathtub with an octopus on her head” pretty much ranks up there with “snakes on a plane”.
Some of the books reviewed in earlier issues looked much better, such as the photos of autopsies or of medical procedures–not using the same models, of course…[/spoiler]
Bizarre did an interview with a very good fetish photographer a couple of years ago (don’t recall the guy’s name, of course), and he said that the models actually really enjoyed it. He’d just go through the normal talent agencies to recruit girls, and they had a blast–the models’ normal work was so boring and repetitious–“put on dress, look sexy”–that they totally got into the wild outfits, strange makeup, and imaginative bodily contortions.
So can we assume that chela ain’t coming back?
