Nope. Google told me that their first WC was in 1974, and they scored a goal against Italy, taking the lead before losing 3-1. Today’s goal was the first since then.

So I put the Scotland - Brazil game on to see if the promised alien abductions happened.
I see the Scottish making passes near their box with Brazilians looming nearby, I think “that’s a dangerous thing to do when playing Brazil”, the Brazilian player robs the ball and scores.
Chuckling ruefully, I go back to the kitchen were we are preparing dinner.
Some 25 minutes later I go back to the living room, and watch the game for a bit, a Scottish player is trying to run with the ball near their box with a Brazilian looming nearby.

I watched 30 seconds of the match and saw 2 goals for Brazil, I decided to turn the tv off to stop jinxing Scotland.
