What the hell?
What the hell?
What the hell?
Oooh, ooh. I know this one.
15 + a dime = a twamp (a 20-sack)
Pay attention, I didn’t start this thread.
Q.E.D.:
I know. I was attempting (successfully, I might add) to start a What the hell? pileon.
Ah. Good job then. Carry on.
Sorry, the OP got lost I was asking what “fifteen and a dime” meant.
Oooh, ooh. I know this one.
15 + a dime = a twamp (a 20-sack)
A twamp? a 20-sack? What does this mean?
what the hell??
This thread has some very high wackiness potential.
Stay tuned and let’s try to keep it on page one.
My mistake. Apparently I can’t add very well. It should be a twamp and a nickel.
A Google search returns only one mention of “fifteen and a dime”, from the song “Haywire” by the Jayhawks. In context, it sounds like it means 25 cents:
I headed up to Pittsburgh
Heard you could get a pretty good sandwich
For fifteen and a dime
Is this where you heard the phrase?
The hamsters must be hungry.
Maybe they should go to Pittsburgh.
