What was the original slogan of the SD and when did Unkie Cecil first use the “Fighting Ignorance since 1973” slogan?

I’m assuming not before 1974.

If I recall correctly, Cecil’s first slogan was along the lines of “My God, can you believe how stupid these losers are?”

But this one was never on the masthead.
