It’s not bad. Not great, but not bad. Better that Gorillas in the Mist, by the same director.
The Last Action Hero. I found it rather comic yet self-mocking and critical of the genre that Ahnuld created in the first place.
Hopscotch. I still don’t know why that’s considered a bad movie.
Lucky Lady. OK, it really bit. But I had a very interesting time with the girl I took to see it.
For some reason, I have watched Krull like 20 times. It is corny, predictable, the special effects are horrible, but for some reason, it fascinates me. It’s like candy corn - grotesque, yet irresistible.
I also like Conan the Destroyer and Willow, god help me. And I am not a fantasy person (except for LOTR).
Heh heh…
Quick, change the channel!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Makes me laugh like an idiot everytime.
I have to confess a certain liking for some of the movies they run on the Disney Channel: Double Teamed, Motorcrossed, hell, even The Luck of the Irish has a few laughs…
Do you ever find yourself kinda sorta hoping they’d make Krull 2?
I know I do.
Well, Labyrinth, Grease, and Beastmaster were already mentioned. I have no shame in these.
But I have Victor/Victoria on tape.
You should be very afraid, Jean Grey, because I love that movie and it has already been established that my taste really sucks!
(And someone’s doing a story that looks like a quasi-remake. I saw a commercial for it last night.)
Ahhhh if only I owned the DVD, I could quote it all day long. As is, this is the only segment I can vaguely remember:
after briefing the army on the plan to infiltrate Bison’s Base, and rescue the hostages
Soldier: But sir, who will lead such an attack? Only a loose cannon, a person who has gone insane would attempt such an attack.
Guile: Luckily, Bison has driven me out of my mind.
Yeah, I know I got it wrong. Anyways, it’s the way they say the lines that make it the funniest thing ever .
