movies you're embarrassed to admit that you like

Last night I was at Blockbuster browsing the previewed videos they have for sale. I picked up a copy of (turns head, makes sure no one’s watching) Spice World. :o

Which makes me think of other movies I really enjoy but am a little embarrased to admit how much I like them.

Some of the top ones in that category for me are:

What About Bob
Dumb & Dumber (Love this movie!)
Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion (ditto)
Kull the Conqueror

That probably makes me sound like an inane lowbrow, but I’m really not. They’re just brain candy for me, after a hard semester (I work f-t & take classes f-t), and help me relax.

What movie are you embarrassed to admit that you like?:o

What About Bob is a great movie!

Dumb and Dumber make my choice seem like Citizen Kane …

I was hanging at a friend’s house last week. I’d stayed over night and had the morning to myself in his living room as he went to work. He has HBO. HBO was showing …

[sub]Dude, Where’s My Car[/sub]
I laughed my self stupid.

I’m not proud of it.

Fried Green Tomatoes.

I watched it just to appease my girlfriend, but I enjoyed it.
I’m so embarrassed!

And I watched Dude, Where’s My Car?? last night. But then, Kristy Swanson is in it, so there was no way I’d miss it. Funny as hell.

I don’t know if I’d say I’m embarrassed , but I sure as hell should be, because I love:

[li]Hair[/li][li]Grease 2 (yes… Grease 2)[/li][li]The Incredible Shrinking Woman[/li][li]Pootie Tang[/li][/ul]

…to name a few…

slinking out

Undercover Blues, starring Dennis Quaid, Kathleen Turner, and Fiona Shaw in yet another ridiculous role. Oh, and Stanley “Mah nem is Muerte!” Tucci.

What can I say – it makes me laugh.

Hey, I thought Undercover Blues was cool.

Keep it a secret, but I have a secial fondness for The Blue Iguana, starring Dylan McDermott in his pre-Practice days.

LMAO…that’s the first movie that sprang to mind when I read the subject line.

I like Hairspray (with Ricki Lake) though, not Hair.

Lorie

[sub]I love Annie.[/sub]

Hudson Hawk.

Big Trouble In Little China.

Beastmaster

Josie And The Pussycats (Stop looking at me like that. The movie’s funny)

Can’t Hardly Wait

I love Dude, Where’s My Car?. So sue me.

That movie is AWESOME!

“And thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn???”

I thought Weekend at Bernies - was really funny. Really!!

I loved Hairspray too! And Josie and the Pussycats. Very funny movie. I also love Legally Blonde.

The ultimate over-protective mom movie: Nice Girls Don’t Explode.

i watched, for some reason that escapes me now, “A Walk in the Clouds” and thought it was kinda sweet. (yuck! what the hell is wrong with me?)

i also like “Three Amigos” and “The Man with two Brains” and thanks to Comedy Central, get to see them at least 2-3 times a week!

yes, these are embarrising!

Most of the movies mentioned have been pretty good. The one that is my guilty pleasure Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. The original one, not the excreble Mighty Morphing Power Rangers Turbo.

Well the other day during Starz! free preview weekend, I found myself watching Bring It On about cheerleaders. I only watched half of it because I had somewhere to be, but I liked it. I plan to rent it sometime to see the rest of it.

I also liked Legally Blonde and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

And it’s not just the hot ladies like Kiersten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon and Denise Richards. I actually liked the entire movies.

There’s plenty of time to see all of Bring It On because Starz! has started another free weekend. I didn’t even know of the previous one!

Dude! Sweeeet! I thought that movie was funny, too!

My addition to the list… License to Drive, starring Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and Heather Graham. That movie always cracks me up.

Here it is… my claim to a relationship with a movie actress.

My mother in law plays the bag lady in Undercover Blues.
