I’ve been absolutely lusting over the trailers that are out for it, and noticed that there was an ad for it at the beginning of the SteamBoy DVD. I’ve tried to look for a release date on this splendid looking title, but to no avail. Anyone know anything about this movie? Is it out in japan? Could I buy an import or something?
It is coming out as usual in Japan sometime this month (14th?). It is available in two editions - the normal movie, and an enormously expensive limited edition which also has a short anime OVA about some stuff on Sephiroth and that.
It was originally supposed to be a simultaneous release here, but Sony got snarky and has pushed it back to the ‘holiday season’. So it will be here some time before Christmas.
