The whole ‘trapped in a sunken ship/damaged submarine’ story, only all Star Wars-ey. 
D’oh, someone had my joke already.
They discovered at the last minute that the neck ribbon wouldn’t fit around his head. It was being replaced with a longer ribbon behind the podium and he got the medal presented after the credits began to roll.
Sure seem to be a lot of Rebellion shills here.
