finding hard-to-find nfl (season) tickets

is there a good place to buy season tickets for an nfl team that is generally sold out for the season? i have been looking at what is available on ebay, but i was wondering if there were other sites out there i hadn’t heard about that have good deals for blocks of tickets for the upcoming season. any help would be, as always, much appreciated.

Traditionally Denver Bronco season tickets are prized more than first-born children. In fact there have been many, many nasty court battles between heirs over the rights to season tickets. There have even been a few criminal cases over violence over such tickets.

Bronco games have been sold out for decades in advance since the 1970’s.

Occasionally, however, there are some available in the classified pages of the local daily papers, but they don’t last long and they tend to be outragously priced. I have not heard of any on line, however.

the baltimore ravens (the team i’m interested in here) use a “permanent seat license” system instead of season tickets per se. this means you buy, for a one-time fee (of several thousand dollars) the “right” to buy tickets for a particular seat to each game played there - though you still have to pay face value for the each one. the team stopped selling the psl’s, as they’re called, some time ago and the waiting list is enormous and costs money to stay on. Occassionally, though, you can buy them in classifieds, on ebay, etc. What i am more interested in is just the tickets themselves; i have noticed that several people (or possibly corporations) on ebay who apparently own psl’s will sell you the entire block of tickets for the season w/o the psl. This is probably a great way to make money for them and it would probably be more economical in the long run for me to invest in a psl of my own, but I am just out of college and have some considerable saving up to do before that is a possibility. i guess i was just wondering if nayone had come across a good website on which people sell their tickets (ie not through the team or ticketmaster)… thanks for your reply though.

I guess it depends on the team. There are always ticket brokers that will sell you season tickets, but you will pay outrageous sums.

My favorite NFL team, Green Bay, has a waiting list of over 57,000 names for season tickets and the team tells you when you sign up that it will be at least 30 years.

From the official website:
" Season Ticket Waiting List

Lambeau Field has been sold out on a season ticket basis since 1960 and we’ve been accumulating names on our legendary season ticket waiting list ever since. "

I just realized that table is very dated, info is from 2002. I guess I’ll tell the Packers to update their website,
