Finding Music Played On NPR

I think it’s kinda tough, because the programs originate from so many different stations.

For instance, tonight I was listening to WABE (Atlanta), and it was a very funny program with Robert Conrad. I heard some very nice music and thought I would follow his website address to see who the performers were, but alas, www.clv.com brought up nothing on tonight’s broadcast and the menu items were of no help.

I would like to help support NPR and do send them 25 bucks a year, but they need to make their broadcast sites a little more user-friendly. Whatcha’ll think?

I think it was a group called Single Swingers I heard, but can’t be sure. Can Y’all help?

Thanks

Quasi

Try the Public Radio Music Source: http://www.prms.org/

It used to be that if you made note of the time of day and the station you were listening to, you could call in and order the music that was playing. I haven’t used the service in several years so I’m not sure if this is still the case. But it looks like you can search for the music used in the the week’s programming.

Good luck.

That’s the Swingle Singers. They did (do?) jazzy vocal arrangements of Bach and other composers.
