Fire and Fury (upcoming Trump book) - intend to read it?

The only thing that will put a smile on my face is the day trump goes to the special section of prison for the criminally insane. And his disgusting slime trailers just go to regular prison.

Noble Socialist that I am, I’ll get it from the library.

Best marketing campaign ever. Maybe Trump gets a cut of the royalties.

](x.com)Warm up your Kindles.

I’m not going to read any book about Trump unless it has a proper and true ending.

Could be. Plus, Trumpster Fire has sent a cease-and-desist to the publisher based on Bannon’s violation of his NDA… so… I guess he’s admitting it’s true?

Still not gonna buy it though… looks like I’m already gonna see all the good parts quoted in my newsfeed before it’s even published.

In response to the mighty Trump’s threats, they have pulled the book. No, I’m kidding. They moved up the publication date to tomorrow.

Perhaps, in part, because once it’s in the bookstores, it’s not really possible to enforce a cease and desist order.

Yeah, I’m with the group who aren’t going to waste the amount of time and energy required to read it. I have a stack of 5 (library) books on my nightstand right now, and countless more I could choose just browsing the shelves. If I were stuck in an airport or something, and the book was lying around free, I’d probably skim it, but absent that unlikely event…

I had no intention of buying or reading it, but because Trump is trying to surpress its release, I feel obligated to buy it.

I bought it on Amazon last night; I just couldn’t help myself.

I hope Michael Wolff sends Trump an autographed copy thanking him for the publicity. That’s just common courtesy.

As it happens, my father called a few hours ago and asked me to order it for him. So that’s one more copy that will be out in the wild to torment Trump.

I am to receive it as a late Christmas present, so I probably will.

You know, he’s so clueless and self-absorbed, he’ll likely interpret high sales numbers as a testament to his awesomeness!

The release date has been pushed up to tomorrow morning at 9:00 am, four days sooner than planned, in response to Trump’s threat of a lawsuit. No doubt this will sell plenty and maybe even pay for any associated court costs (assuming Trump isn’t bluffing once again).

I feel like I already read it.

Take the book to a gun range and you can add your own happy ending.

Buy the paperback (used or liquidation, of course), and either give it to your dog, or, if you have a cat, shred it, and mix it in with their litter.

I see near-unanimous consensus here toward not reading the book, primarily it seems because we all sense that it will just tell us more of what we already believe, or want to believe about Trump. (Myself included.)

Now I’m wondering: Who are the people who ARE planning to read the book? What audience is there? With so much interest that the publisher pushed up the release date, there’s obviously a groundswell of interest coming from somewhere. Trump’s Streisand moment alone can’t explain that.

I read an excerpt. It was good. I don’t think I’d like to pay for it though, except maybe as an e-book.

The access the author had is mindboggling:

Janice Min was also at the dinner party Wolff hosted:

I’ve read that Wolff has been known to make up or exaggerate things before so what he says should be taken with a grain of salt, but it sounds like he might have the goods here. I hadn’t been interested in the book much before, but I’m more interested with Trump wanting to stop publication.
