'Firefly' tonight, (12/13)

Though there may not be for long, there is a new episode of ‘Firefly’, the show too beautiful for this ugly, ugly world, on tonight at 8pm Eastern, 7 Central on FOX.

I heard something that unfortunately I don’t have a cite for, so perhaps someone can confirm or deny it. I heard that when Whedon got UPN to take Buffy, he was concerned about Angel getting cancelled. So the contract with UPN stated that they actually had to take two shows - Buffy and one unnamed - with the stipulation that the unnamed show be one that had been cancelled.

If this is true, it opens up a door for UPN to take Firefly, which would be a good pairing with Enterprise. I’ve no idea if it’s true, however.

Okay I’ll be sure to tune in this time, and see if I happen to get brainwashed into thinking that it’s the cat’s pajamas, like so many of the viewers here seem to believe. :slight_smile:
