Firefox doesn't "Grey Out" previously visited links......

I’ve found in Firefox that, if I am on a given page, and click on a certain link, when I go back to that page, yeah the link is now grey, but if I go to a different page which also has that link, the link isn’t greyed out there even though the URL is identical.

Well, none of my previously visited links are suitably identified by “grey outs,” or otherwise: are yours?

Go to preferences and be sure it is storing your history.
