Firefox/Norton security problem. HELP!

I was having a problem with FIREFOX
I went on vacation, returning today. I simply reloaded Firefox. But now, for some reason, I can’t access it unless I turn my Norton firewall off. I’m thinking I may have accidentally told Norton to block the Firefox when I reloaded the program. How do I tell it not to block it? I don’t like to surf without a firewall.

Open NIS (or the firewall, if that’s all you’ve got), and click on the firewall. Then select configure. Then click on programs (across the top). It will show you “Program Control”, and near the bottom of the window will be a list of all the programs that you have intentionally or accidentally configured it for. If you’ve accidentally blocked Firefox, it will show up there, and you should be able to fix it there.

If it’s something more complex, this link, Symantec Support - contact should take you to a page where you can select what most sites call “live support” (can’t recall what Symantec calls it). I recommend that over email and the FAQs. I dunno if all of their live support is farmed out to India, but most of it is, fershure. That’s the good thing about live support, as opposed to telephone support; no worries about accents, and the Indians generally have better spelling and grammar than we’uns.

It worked. Thanks.
