Looking for a place to view fireworks from afar in the Seattle/Tacoma area. I love to see the fireworks, but would like to avoid crowds and maybe just sit on a hilltop or beach somewhere with a view. Does anyone have any vantage spots they can recommend?
Perhaps not the answer you had in mind, but for the past decade I’ve been going to Cle Elum. It’s about an hour east.
Before I started going there, I attended the Bellevue showing. Then one year I made it as far as parking my car, and realized that I just didn’t want to deal with the sweaty mass of humanity (not to mention the hour wait to get out of the parking garage afterward!) and hightailed it east. Haven’t attended a city showing since.
Cle Elem sounds great. Sadly, I have to work the next morning, though. Maybe next year.
