Firm me up.

I’m not overweight. Well I could probably stand to lose 5 pounds-ish. I wear size 10 (US size 8?). I am over flab though. I have the muscle tone of playdough really. I have those lovely under arm flappy bits and all round jigglyness.

I have decided I want to get my very own buns of steels, 6 pack, thighs that could kill…all that.

I was always shocking at sport. Last sport I played was netball at high school, I finally gave up when the team and I realised catching a ball was not my thing. So suggestions that I take up a sport are probably not good ones (though I have some mates that play indoor netball socially, so I could do that)

I just want to know what is the most effective way to covert flab to muscle.

Should I take up running? Pilates? Yoga? Karate?

Not the gym please! I can’t afford it and it just doesn’t appeal.

What is the best way to make playdough firm?

I’m so in the same boat. I was commenting the other day about the fact that I have a small enough frame that I have to buy all my football tops in 10-year-old boys size … and yet I have the upper arms of my chubby grandmother

I get a hell of a lot of exercise, lift weights and all that, eat (mostly) low fat stuff and really have no complaints about the way I look dressed but I just cannot seem to get rid of this squishy stuff…

Yep! It’s the naked wobbly bit that gets me. Dressed I’m good to go
