Undiluted solar power 24 hours a day every day,trillions of tons of minerals,chemicals and gasses and of course when the overdue asteroid strike takes us all out on Earth then they can resettle the Earth after the earthquakes,volcanic eruptions and nuclear winter have finished.
Or of course we can carry on steadily overpopulating and polluting our planet,run out of resources and then fester and die in our own filth.

We currently have a huge trade deficit with China. If they are able to establish a moonbase they will gain a strangle hold on the world market for one of the few commodities that they still import from us : Cheese.

Iwas roaming slightly off topic there,was on about the potential of space exploration in general which is why I mentioned gasses as well as 24 hour undiluted solar power.
I was thinking of the outer giants ref gas and in orbit ref power.
