Fishing Dopers -- what is an aunfish?

According to the Massachusetts Wildlife website:

"The five species caught [in a local reservoir] most often were:

Lake trout (6,200)
Aunfish (5400)
Yellow perch (4,400)
Smallmouth bass (3,600)
Largemouth bass (2200)"

Trout I know, and perch, and yes, bass, too; but what is an aunfish? I google-searched and things but found nothing.

A typo for sunfish?

Definitely a typo for Sunfish. There’s no such thing as an aunfish.

Here’s a link:

Bluegill Sunfish

Aun no he lo encontrado.

Ah, yes. In retrospect, obvious. The s right next to the a on the qwertyboard.

I feel like such a dum-dum for not getting this right away.

And the folks at google are scratching their heads wondering WTF an aunfish is…
