I hereby submit that Lady Gaga is not as terrible as I thought. I have no other basis for this aside from the fact that I no longer despise her for some reason.

Lada Gaga is a pretty traditional blue singer, updated for the 2010s, with a flair for self promotion. One more example of why file sharing has destroyed music, but she clearly has musical talent.
Lady GaGa is talented and fun, and makes good music. Some songs are all the way great in my opinion. But, if you are one of those people who can’t like anything popular, I suppose this is hard to accept. Just remember, when you refuse to listen to anything “everybody” likes, you are letting “them” dictate your taste as much as if you only listened to the top 40.
Also, how in the world can you say file sharing ruined music?! It’s only because of file sharing that so many musicians who previously would never have been heard because they didn’t have songs that could be played repeatedly on the radio are getting exposure. It’s created a huge resurgence in music!
You do realize that she deliberately keeps her music pedestrian and unremarkable so as not to draw attention to her more nefarious activities…don’t you?
I was completely indifferent towards her, until I saw her Monster Ball live show on HBO. I had no intention of watching the whole thing, and didn’t realize I had, until it was over.
She has amazing talent. Unfortunately, most people can’t get past the weird costumes.
Heh, this is where I seem to be with her lately too. For me, I think it’s her passion in defense of bullied teens. And her songs are better than a lot of the bubble gum crap, so there is that.
The shoes are too ridiculous for words though.
