Five Desert Island Songs

Yeah, Iko Iko really fits. Great song. I like the original but FYI Cindy Lauper did an excellent cover. Really rocks. I have both and I think I like Cindy’s best.

Oh, btw, did someone mention that Buffet guy, Whats his name, Tim, Slim Or something like that? Well just because I didn’t make a big fuss and all, don’t think I didn’t notice. I’ll let it go this time because, well, you know. :dubious:

The Beach Boys - Heroes And Villains

Frank Zappa - Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow

The Guess Who - Three More Days

Symphony No. 3 - Górecki

Mozart: 41st Symphony. If I must name a movement, the fourth.
Bach: “Great” Fantasia and Fugue in G-Minor. If I had to select one movement, I’ll go with the fugue.
Beethoven: 9th Symphony. Fourth movement again.
Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante in E-Flat Major. 1st movement.
Bach: Passacaglia and Fugue in C. If I have to select a movement, I don’t wanna!

I regret nothing!

I was just trying to come up with 5 songs that actually relate in some way to being on a desert island. (I’m all about maintaining a theme.) Whatever else you may say about J.B., he knows from islands.

Now my five favorite songs would be an entirely different list, in which Mr. Buffet would play no part.

And they would be ???

Today?

"Tangled Up in Blue" - Bob Dylan
"Driver 8" - R.E.M.
"Gimme Shelter" - Rolling Stones
"London Calling" - The Clash
"Tunnel of Love" - Dire Straits

Ask me again tomorrow, and I’ll probably give you five entirely different songs.
