Stay away from surround sound, 5.1, or anything of that sort.
Something that’s outside of the main discussion but you still need to think about is what audio you can legally play in a retail establishment. Normally you have to have an appropriate license to play music in a “public” place (not just bars but small boutiques, too). This is for radio, iTunes, TV, your CDs, etc. Anything that’s copyrighted.
You need to pay to display television as well but I think it’s a different license.
There’s nothing wrong with 5.1 per se, particularly if you already have one, they have lots of different play modes.
Just seems as though 5.1 would be needlessly complicating things for a guy who wants to keep it simple. But he already has a 5.1 receiver, right? Could he use that device with 4 simple speakers and set the receiver to send mono-sum (L+R) to each of the 4?
OP hasn’t returned to say exactly what they already have. Hard to make suggestions when getting additional info is like pulling teeth.

Can you not read? Pulling teeth? I literally said what I had and that I’m returning it. Won’t return? I posted it yesterday.
You are not helpful, unpleasant, and I’m kindly asking you to see your way out of my thread.
You said you have a “5.1 system”. What do you mean by system? 5 speakers and a passive subwoofer? 5 satellites and an active subwoofer? Speakers along with a 5.1 receiver?
And a tv brand and model would be helpful so we know what kind of outputs it has. Also the model Klipsh speakers you have.
I still think all that’s over-analysis. OP wants 4 speakers; one in each corner, all in mono. At best, a 5.1 system leaves him with a center channel speaker and a subwoofer he has no use for, and at worst he has the excess speakers AND rear satellites that are smaller and weaker than the front pair. He just needs to return the 5.1 setup and get two pairs of bookshelf speakers. Maybe ones that wall mount, depending on the layout. A super basic receiver will round that out.
Agreed, pretty much what was said in post 11.
I design and install A/V systems for a living. From my standpoint, if your AV system is critical to your biz then you should spend the money to do it right. If it’s not that important then do what you want and live with your mess. This is the kind of “client” I hang up on.
Moderating:
Kindly or otherwise, please do not junior mod and direct other posters what to do in a thread. If you perceive there is a problem, use the ‘report’ button and let us take care of it. Thanks.
So you think this kind of nonsense is ok–coming into my thread to spend time to type out that they’d have hung up on had I called them seeking professional assistance.
You mods might want to get a handle on the unwarranted, flippant condescension.
I didn’t call that guy, to be hung up on, so why he wasting time coming to type shit out?
And by what measure does me asking this fairly innocuous question invite such weird hostility from the posters?
“like pulling teeth”
“can’t be bothers.”
“would hang up on”
etc.
Why such attitude?
Drive by unhelpful posts and junior modding by the OP.
This thread falls into the category of more trouble than its worth. @Dr.Colossus if you have a problem with a post, flag it for us.
@Mortimus best not to do drive by unhelpful snide posts.
