So how should I improve this team?
What’s available? How many can you start? You’ve got a lot of pieces and should be able to package a lot for a stud first baseman?
I might be bad to ask right now. I’m mildly bitter because I’m trying to overpay to get a few upgrades, and people aren’t trading anymore, even though the trades are in their favor.
We start C, 1B,2B,3B,1/3B, 2b/SS, 5 OF, and one Util slot.
Woof. You need a new first baseman or two. A third baseman might be nice, now that Cantu fell back to Earth.
What do you have 5 second basemen for? Get rid of any excess position players and replace them with pitchers. Unless you have an innings limit, that will give you a leg up on the pitching cats (the counting stats, anyway).
Ideally, you could move some of your players for closers and then stream out the SP slots.
Most of the infielders I have are able to play multiple positions. With a 1b/3b and 2b/ss setting, it takes a lot of infielders to fill the lineup each day.
