Flip-flops for thin feet

I recently started wearing flip-flops (thongs?) and have a tough time finding ones that fit. I wear a men’s size 12, but my feet are thin. I have a pair of Nike Cruiser thongs that are discontinued, and these fit great (I ordered a second pair). However, I was hoping to get a more “rugged” sandal, like the Columbia Tango thong, but these are too wide/big, causing them to slip off when I walk. By “rugged” I am looking for one with a shaped foot-bed, an arch, and more support than the basic flat flip-flop.

That said, can anyone recommend a “rugged” men’s flip/flop/thong for thin feet?

I am not a guy but I would suggest these Chaco sandals or maybe these Tevas. When I see them at the store these brands look like they run narrow. I have owned Tevas (womens styles, though) and they always felt really narrow.

Birkenstock does make sandals in narrow width footbeds. I believe that they also have flip-flop styles for men.

I have always found the men’s shoes at Land’s End are reasonably priced, fit really well, and seem to last more than a season.

I’m female, so with that caveat I had to return two pairs of sandals to Land’s End because they were too wide and too tall from the top of my foot to the bottom of my foot.
