Good for her!
Extra cheese, light on the sauce, call 911, kidnapped
Clever girl…
Clever 911 operator…
I wonder if I could get Godfather’s Pizza to send over a hitman.
How is the 911 operator clever? They received a call from Pizza Hut, who told them where to go.
I like the part that says they “recognized her as a frequent customer” and that helped them decide to call 911. Makes me feel good that I have been spending all this time and money grooming my local pizza shops to help protect me if I ever need it.
Great idea. I had wondered if these places paid any attention to the order comments box. Now we know.
But!! The lady never got her pizza? Did she? LOL She went hungry but she got rescued.
There was a story a while back about a woman who called 911 in front of her boyfriend, who had just beaten her up, and her end of the dialogue was ordering a pizza. The 911 operator figured out what was going on, and sent an officer.
Double standard. Just try calling 911 for a pizza & see if you don’t get arrested.
Another reason to tip your delivery person.
I conflated it with another story. :smack:
Anyway, the moral is, if you’re a violent asshole, don’t let anybody order fucking pizza.
Did they at least include free breadsticks?
Pic of slip here:
No, there isn’t a $2.75 fee for 911 help
Brian
Yes, but did she tip the policemen?
She orders a pizza, someone shows up at her door & says, “Let me whip out my long, hard rod” & it’s Dirty Harry & not Ron Jeremy?
Wow, there’s an unexpected twist to the movie meme!
I’m surprised a cop didn’t put on a pizza uniform and make the delivery. Might have caught the suspect by surprise. Instead they ended up with a stand off and had to talk the guy out. Thankfully no shots were fired and nobody got hurt.
Pretty sure I’ve read about similar cases where the cops played delivery man. It’s a smart ruse.
But did the cops get there in 30 minutes or less?
