"Focus Factor"...what is the deal with this stuff?

So, I’ve been seeing and hearing all kinds of advertisements over the past few years about this ‘Focus Factor’ supplement. It’s supposed to increase mental capacity, clarity, and enhace the memory.

Does anybody have any informed opinions about or insight into this suppliment? I’ve long had difficulties from time to time with “cloudiness” and a poor memory, but it comes and goes. I’ve thought about trying some sort of supplement that is designed to increase mental clarity and memory functions, but I know very little about them. I eat well, excersise regularly, and drink tons of water, so I don’t feel my problem can be a dietary issue, nor is it a result of lack of sleep (I get 8 hours per night almost religiously).

Additionally, does anyone have any supplimental, or otherwise holistic suggestions as to how I can alleviate some of these issues?

Thanks, and stay out of prison.

Well, avoid Focus Factor. They’re a scam.

"Focus Factor is a cocktail of 40 ingredients (half of them found in a basic multivitamin/mineral pill), including the following:

• Choline. This nutrient is a type of fat that is plentiful in foods. Yes, choline is important for the brain and nervous system, and yes, the developing fetus needs it, but there is no evidence that consuming extra choline in adulthood will do anything for memory."

Read the rest, its kind of cute:

I don’t know if FF is one of them but many non-pharmusuticals are coming out to market to people with attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder. Some things that act as stimulants to a ‘normal’ person could calm a AD/HD one.
