Whenever Yogi Bear was successful in getting a pic-a-nic basket, it was always full of sandwiches, all of which had lettuce in them. So we kids asked for lettuce sandwiches, like Yogi Bear had. Mom thought we should have more protein than just lettuce, so she put regular butter and peanut butter on them, along with lettuce. Voila! A Yogi Bear sandwich. Pretty good too, as I recall.
