It was supposedly medium hot, but i couldnt take it!

You’d think eating at a steak house would spare you from spicy food, but I mistook a bowl of freshly-made horseradish sauce for sour cream. I’ll never make that mistake again.

Ooh! One time in NYC I was craving Tex-Mex. (This was in 1978, not a lot of Mexican restaurants, much less Tex-Mex.) I ate what I thought was guacamole but was actually salsa verde, and almost died from the heat. My boyfriend was dying laughing because I was sorta bragging on how spicy I liked things. Served me right!
