[not bad enough for the pit] Went to their website, looking for a BBQ technique for making pizza and found an ad on the top, one on the right, one popped up out of the text when I moved my mouse across the recipe…and one behind the window when I closed it.

OBVIOUSLY Chopped isn’t making them enough money, they have to resort to credit score scam sites.

ETA: Og damnedit! I went to the bottom to see if they were hosted by some scumsicking moneygrubbing Web hosting facility and found, next to the copyright notice:

In normal footer-style text!

All in all 8 seperate ads sprinkled about the page.

It gets better! Enter ‘BBQ Pizza dough’ in the search engine…the first hit is:

That’s a link. You click it and NO LINK ON THAT PAGE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH PIZZA!

I would try searching sites like allrecipes.com. Might want to modify your search terms though. I would recommend searching on grilled pizza rather than BBQ pizza, unless your really wanting to use pulled pork BBQ as a topping.

Yeah, I’ve got a few complaints against Food Network lately.

Chopped is one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen.

hmmm, YMMV, I enjoy Chopped with the exception of the way they cut to commercial EVERY TIME just before you find out who’s taking the dreaded exit walk. I’ll have to admit, I’ve learned a few things regarding some of the unusual ingredients they place in the the baskets.

If you want to laugh a little, there’s a site that’s been making fun of the Foodnetwork for some time now. I get a giggle out of it on occasion.
