NETA: Though I am not a Jew, I have a friend with a tatooed arm, side with Israel when their conflicts arise in discussion, and am disgusted when I hear (too frequently) acquaintances make stupid anti-Semitic comments. I had a young black friend who tried to wash his skin color off – that reminded me of another childhood friend who wanted to change his obviously Jewish surname.
