The Doomsday Rule determines the day of the week for a given date. Details are here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomsday_rule

So, here goes:

The last day of February (the 29th) is a Saturday

For the even months,
April 4
June 6
August 8
October 10
December 12, are all Saturdays (4/4, 6/6, 8/8, 10/10, 12/12)

For the odd months, remember “working 9 to 5 at the 7/11”
May 9
September 5
July 11
November 7, are all Saturdays. (5/9, 9/5, 7/11, 11/7)

Normally Jan 31 is the Doomsday but 2020 is a Leap Year, so Jan 32 (yes) is a Saturday. Or for 2020, Jan 4.

Similarly, March 0 is Saturday

Other notable dates that are Doomsdays:
July 4, Boxing Day, Halloween, Pi Day (March 14)

I deeply respect Conway for The Game Of Life. But “Doomsday” implies something more than a calendar trick. I want REAL fucking DOOM, dammit! And not the old game on so many levels. No, we need a solid calculation of TEOTWAWKI (*) else we’re merely mentally masturbating. Give me doomsday or give me life!

(*) The end of THIS world is sufficient. We needn’t extend to the galaxy or universe. Gotta have limits.
