I just know the response is going to be: “Well, nobody’s ever seen macroevolution, so it’s just an unproven theory. Nyah nyah.” Then I’ll re-post my link to the Talk.Origins archive page documenting actual cases of speciation, then Navigator will go off on an unrelated tangent, and then five or six messages later someone will claim (again!) that no one has ever seen one species evolve into another.

Haven’t seen the joke yet. Like I said, I haven’t had time to pop in over there – just quickly skimmed some stuff when people here pointed over there.
Which brings up a point. There are web programs that can determine how people are getting to your site. For example, when Contestant #3 posted some links to a guy’s site a few months ago, the guy in question showed up because he noticed a surge of hits from folks who had originated at the same location (here).
While I’m sure the LBMB gets more hits than that guy does, we probably should be careful not to use these links we’ve posted here with regularity. If they happen to be running that software (and many webmasters do, just to find out who is linking to them) and notice a stream of users coming from here, well, they could backtrack and figure it all out.
To say nothing of a certain “shining one”, who perhaps deserves some credit as a good sport for not having spilled the beans already.
BTW, I haven’t registered yet (next to you people, all I’d be able to do is heckle, which, come to think of it, is pretty much what I do here), but you might be hearing from Tim Barnes, yet.

Folks, I’ve been managing to enjoy some of what I’ve read Over There, but even your posts can’t keep me reading. I’m going off LBMB cold turkey. I just find myself getting frustrated and spiteful at the “good christians,” and that’s somewhere I don’t want to be.
Too many of these people have taken some wierd scriptural interpretations waaaaay too far. Most (read: mainstream) Christian scholars think the “Left Behind” series is completely whacko. Sheesh, the whole Apocalyptic Camp as we know it today only arose a hundred and fifty years ago.
These folks are nutballs at worst, mindless drones desperately seeking warm fuzzies in a cold prickly world at best.
So I’m out. But please, please, please . . . if there’s a good exchange or set of posts, please continue to quote and post links on this thread.
