I can’t find the word “rapture” anywhere in Revelation. In any English translation. Which chapter and verses talk about the Rapture?
None of them actually use the word “Rapture”…I think that “Translation” is used, instead. Also, look up “twinkling of an eye”, if you have a good concordance.
I think I’m gonna go watch The Holy Grail and The Life of Brian back to back…gotta get that LBMB stuff outta my head!

- All contestants declare themselves in or out of the race prior to commencing.
- Deliberate flouting of the LBMB’s rules of engagement is encouraged (and possibly required), but any post which dares (in so many words) the administration to apply the ban is a disqualifier.
- No posting links to pornographic web sites. In fact, if a reasonable person could be expected to believe that posting a particular link here would result in a [Moderator Hat On][Moderator Hat OFF] message from David B, don’t post it there.
3a. Posting the link to “Kissing Hank’s Ass” would be just too easy. Doesn’t count.

If someone were to do the same thing to a Jewish Message Board there would be many who would be up in arms. I would be, for one. I see people of faith the same way I see people of color. They have a right to a peaceful co-existence with their fellow human beings. Evidently you don’t see them that way and that is fine.
Let’s turn it around, what if all the Christians from all the Christian message boards were to come to this message board and hound your every post? Or every thread you tried to say something that was important to you. I don’t think you would like it and NO ONE would benefit.
I will find out if the Administration of THIS board will sanction (by that I mean penalize) your behavior. If not, perhaps other actions can be taken to stop you.

They deleted posts and threads that they disagreed with, then they came over here and flooded the Great Debates section with the blessing and participation of their moderator. I have no plans to do the same to their board, but could you drop a little note to the LeftBehind administrators about their children’s behaviour?

No Sho, we have a problem with people who “share” with people against their will. A mugger does not share his/her fist with the muggee’s face. A soldier does not share his bullet with the enemy. Get back to us after you look up the word “share” in the dictionary.

No, it just means that you found out some people who got involved in discussions at the LBMB, and were questioning and reasoning in a manner not consistent with the party line of evangelical correctness promulgated by the Falwells, Robertsons, Dobsons, Chapmans (Morris), Schlaflys, Bauers, LaHayes (2), Wildmons, etc. of the world, were already regular posters at this site, and discussed their encounters with the LBMB on this thread.
I’m trying to recollect where I’ve heard dialogue like your post before. Sounds more like a line from a B-movie than the words of a Christian. But hey, the Pharisees of the world always get the bad lines, from the Gospels to the present. Sorry, but that’s the role you’ve chosen. But you’re free to un-choose it at any time.
