For guys...recharge after sex.

Sometimes, like this morning, about 12 minutes.

Usually longer.

I hadn’t either. But it may explain some things. Not quite what I used to be. Of couse at 51, I sort of expect that, but the BP meds may be a factor. The timing of when I started taking them seems right.

Huh.

Usually after we’re done, neither of us is interested in any more, but I’ve learned that if she is still interested, she can get a rise out of me for another session. Occasionally if I can’t sleep I’ll go downstairs to surf porn and rub one out, which usually helps relax me enough to fall asleep. But every now and then, when I come up to bed I end up waking up my wife, who will then cuddle up to me and want some lovin’. My first inclination is to snub her (politely), but then she’ll go down on me and before I know it, I’m back in action. We’ll change positions a couple times, allowing me to get her off first, and then I’ll pop within about 20 minutes of finishing my wank.

One weekend we were staying with friends and when we woke up, I went down on her, and she returned the favor. After I had come she climbed on top to just cuddle and lay on me, and I was surprised to realize that I didn’t even get soft. She slid her body down a bit until I was inside, and soon I went off again, no more than 10 minutes after my first one. I’m 45 now and that was only a year ago, so it did wonders for my ego.

That doesn’t happen often though; more the exception than the rule.

I can go for another round after 10 minutes or so, but usually the motivation is not there. I’m tired, she’s tired, we just relax afterwards.

As far as masturbation 5 or 10 minutes is plenty of recharge time if I feel like it. Usually once is enough.

It varies, but usually within about half an hour. Less if it’s just me and video stimulus, but in general, with a partner, about half an hour. 37 here.

And I can attest to the Coolidge effect, at least I could 10 years ago.

Minimum time between orgasms was about a half hour from childhood into my mid-40s. I’m in my late 50s now, and the interval has widened somewhat - more like an hour or two now.
