For the fans of Viggo Mortensen

For those of you who are interested, TNT today will be airing ‘A
Perfect Murder’, a remake of ‘Dial M for Murder’. Viggo Mortensen
has a major role it, along with Michael Douglas.

Check your local tv listing for the time.

I saw it last night. It was the first time I’d seen Viggo in a role other than as Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings.

I hated that movie!

I mean, I liked the plot, the acting, the characters… but, have you ever found yourself cheering for the bad guy? With all that planning, Michael Douglas DESERVED to get away with it…

Sardaukar3925, have you seen “Dial M for Murder”? The ending is slightly different than “A Perfect Murder”.

If you haven’t, I highly recommend it. Superb acting by the entire cast.

Actually a movie that managed to do that would make it a GOOD movie, IMO :D.

no, I havent seen the original.
ISiddiqui, thats why I hated it! Its so close to being a great movie… but it fails miserably when the bad guys perfect plans begin to come apart due to sheer bad luck.

The same thing happened to me with The Jackal, an action flick with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere.

The first time I saw Viggo was in a very strange movie called “The Reflecting Skin”. Rent it if you dare.

I don’t get it. I thought the bad guy got away with two murders?

He was also in " Crimson Tide"

And don’t forget “Amish Guy” in “Witness”.

He was one sexy bitch in that movie with Diane Lane - "Walk on the Moon’, or something like that.

And he played the baseball player in 28 Days…weird to see him with short hair.

Also, Master Chief in GI Jane.

Bad mustache, but still pretty hot

I thought he was great in that.

I’ve always had a strange attraction to this film (A Perfect Murder). I watched it about a dozen times in the year after it initially came out.

Funny. I was going to wonder what possible synopsis of this movie could omit Gwyneth Paltrow’s name, but of course this thread answers that question: the synopsis that’s written for Viggo Mortensen fans.

Oh, and who could forget his role in The Prophecy?

Yeah, though I kept having the turn up the volume because he spoke so softly sometimes.

Not a great movie (it’s like Diane Lane was preparing for “Unfaithful”), but some very nice eye candy scenes.

The first thing I ever saw Viggo Mortenson in was The Indian Runner, written and directed by Sean Penn. A great movie, and I still think it’s his best role. David Morse is really good in it too.

I thought it was Dial M for Mordor.

Anybody like his art?
